STATEMENT OF FAITH
- We believe in the Bible, the 66 books that make up the Old and New Testaments, and that it is the infallible, incorruptible and inerrant Word of God, written by men throughout the ages under the guidance and inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
- We believe in one eternal God, creator of the universe, who is God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ) and God the Holy Spirit. Three distinct persons in perfect unity, power and equality, who make up the Godhead or Trinity.
- We believe that God created man in His own image, as Adam and Eve, and that through disobedience and rebellion, Adam sinned and caused the fall of all of mankind into a state of sin and spiritual death, separated from God.
- We believe that God created humanity as male and female image bearers, each gender ordained by God’s will and objectively expressed of the whole person, spiritually and physically, from conception according to God’s unchangeable plan for each unique human life, and each gender given distinct qualitative endowments uniting them in wise and fruitful rule over the earth, with equal dignity and value.
- We believe that the term “marriage ”means a covenant sanctioned by God which joins one man and one woman in a single, exclusive, and sacred union, as delineated in Scripture.
- We believe in the sanctity, dignity, and irrevocable value of each human life from the moment of its conception, and the innate and sacred responsibility of humanity to guard and nourish each human life as a fellow unique human being created in the image of the living God.
- We believe that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, second person of the Trinity, is eternal in existence, and is the Word of God become flesh. That He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary.
- We believe that Jesus is indeed fully God and fully human, that He lived His entire life on the earth without sin to become the substitutionary blood atonement (sacrifice) for all of man by suffering the agonizing and humiliating death on the cross.
- We believe that Jesus was buried in a borrowed tomb, was in the grave for 3 days, and on the 3rd day He rose from death in His physical body glorified.
- We believe that Jesus’ death on the cross provided the only means for man’s salvation, our reconciliation to God, and that each person must exercise their free will to make the choice to accept this finished work of Christ on the cross for eternal life or face eternal condemnation. We call this salvation by grace through faith.
- We believe that one day soon, Jesus will come to receive The Church (all believers), both dead and alive, in an event called The Rapture.
- We believe that this salvation that has been provided for us through the blood of Jesus has freed us from the curses of sin, which were death (separation from God), sickness and poverty.
- We believe that through this salvation, we have eternal life, health and prosperity promised.
- We believe that God wants us to have the abundant life promised in John 10:10, and that He wants us to have it now.
- We believe that divine healing, in our physical body, is for today and that the New Testament Church should walk in health as a testimony to the world of the power and promises of God.
- We believe in the Holy Spirit, the 3rd person of the Trinity, actively empowering and enabling all believers through the baptism in the Holy Spirit, with evidence of speaking in tongues.
- We believe in the Holy Spirit gifting believers with ministry and power gifts to carry on the work of the Kingdom of God here on earth and that all believers should desire and operate in these gifts in order to fulfill their calling and purpose.
BIBLICAL MORALITY POLICY
AOL Christian Academy (AOLCA) stands firmly upon the historical truth claims and moral foundations of the bible. This includes, but is not limited to, the biblical definition of marriage as between one man and one woman, the accompanying boundaries of sexuality and moral conduct, and the clear biblical teaching that gender is both sacred and established by God's design.
AOLCA is a religious institution providing an education in a distinct Christian environment, believing its biblical role is to work in conjunction with the home to mold students to be Christ-like.
IDEOLOGY BELIEFS
The ultimate goal is that AOLCA will instruct God’s Gladiators in biblical truths that develop their spiritual and moral foundation in such a way that promotes God’s will for their life. God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as either male or female to reflect the image and nature of God (Genesis 1:26–27).
